It’s past 12.00 noon and the day is 17 th, the eleventh month of the year of the Lord (2014). I look at the dates again and yes its exactly seventeen days, yes seventeen days since October ended and I made promises to myself in the new month. Promises to live and many more which may not be related to this article! Seventeen days are gone, what have I done? Your guess is as good as mine. At least am alive. So you ask what is so special about ‘seventeen’ and just as your concern; I realized there is actually nothing special; absolutely nothing special about ‘seventeen’.  It’s a number, just like I could pick 2, 4, 8, or even 0 .What really matters is how we identify to a date or season and what it means in our life.
